New Testament

I have a few more New Testament passages available for you to listen to and read. Among them is the greatest sermon of all time, The Sermon on the Mount , from the fifth through the seventh chapters of The Gospel of Matthew. This is a lesson Christ himself taught during his ministry. This passage takes about fifteen minutes to read.

The first chapter of the First Epistle
* of John tells of his first hand knowledge as a witness to the life of Jesus. He speaks of joy, truth, light, and the first step to redemption: the admission of sin. This passage from First John takes only about three minutes to read.

Another well known chapter from the New Testament is First Corinthians, chapter 13. The passage is a message regarding love, from the Apostle Paul's letter to the Corinthians; the congregation of an early church in Greece. This passage is read from the King James Version, in which the word "charity" is used to translate the Greek word "agape" **. In many translations, like the New International Version, the word is translated as "love". This passage also take about three minutes to read.
