Of course, Jesus was human. He is a real person, and his human existance is a matter of historical record. He was also God, that is a human manifestation of God. He said he was both Son of Man and the son of God. There's no way for me to prove this; again it's a matter of faith. It does seem to me, however, that he himself, and history, have proven his case. There were many other people who claimed to be god. Roman emperors had relgious sects worshipping them as gods, but I don't see any Church of Augustus on the corner.
